Freedom.

Perfect.

It's what everyone wants to be. We strive for perfectionism in how we dress, our jobs, in school, etc.
I want to be perfect.
Who doesn't?
But I'm not, actually I am so far from perfect.

I will never be perfect.
& that's okay.

I try to be perfect, especially when it comes to school.
I've always pushed myself because I want to succeed.
I want to be my very best.
But there is a difference in being your best & faking perfection.
I want everyone to think I have everything together.
I don't.
No one does.

Over Spring Break this year, I attended The Grove at Passion City Church in Atlanta. They talked about what were we holding onto that is keeping us from living in complete freedom.

For me, it's the feeling I have to be perfect.

There is Freedom in Christ.
So I don't have to be perfect.
because Jesus is.

"For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another." Galations 5:13

"Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom."
 2 Corinthians 3:17

What's stopping you from living in freedom?

XOXO,
E.
